Am I back?

I sure hope so~ I have taken so many mail related photos since my last real post but I decided to just start fresh. I haven't been writing as much lately due to life just getting in the way. Money is a big issue too but I try not to think about that. Ugh.

This week I mailed out three letters and return a homer. It felt good mailing these out. It has been so long. I need to get back on track but first I gotta shake the lack of motivation that has been ailing me lately.

Gonna take it slow and maybe just post pictures at first. I miss my blog. I miss my penpals. I miss you all.

Far away from home

Hello. It has been a while since I updated. I am using an app on my phone and hopefully I won't have any issues. I have been away from home since April 25th due to a family emergency.  Not sure when I will be back but I have been writing letters. 

It's been a while

Oh my, first I need to apologize for not updating in a while~ I have been so distracted lately and been focusing on everything else but this blog. I also get so overwhelmed with the amount of pictures that are saved in my cellie or tablet right now. I am not sure when or if I will be posting them. But I just figured out my PB password and now I have no excuse not to start uploading them. So hopefully I will be showing my blog some love from now on.
At the moment I am behind on my mail... As always. I have a few letters written and just waiting on me to get it together. Which I plan to do before I leave the house. I will post on that later. Here are some random mail pictures:

I have also done a little shopping. Here are some recent stuff form Dollar Tree, Pat Catan's, and Walmart.

I need to put more collages together and hopefully be able to post all the pictures that I have saved. I will return. ^___~

A small Haul & Expo

It's been a while since I updated. I've been so distracted lately with other projects which I am in the process of making another blog since it isn't mail related. I am also excited about attending the Memories Scrapbooking Expo this Friday.



I wanted to share the latest goodies I bought a few days ago. Some of this stuff I needed for the expo since I signed up for a couple of classes with a friend. I really needed a nice pair of scissors since I usually buy the cheap kind. I am quite happy with this cute CutterBee scissor. I find them very confortable and I like the fact that there are small. I also got some foam adhesive which were 40% off. I saw these cute lunch bags which I plan to use as envelope for my deco swaps. This carot card also got my attention and I couldn't resist the lil' 'statches. These adhesive borders from K&Company where clearance out~ So I had to snatch them up.



I bought some 8x8 scrapbooking paper and craft tags. I wanted something small to take to the expo. I really do not want to take too much. I can also use these tags for some "Deco Supply Bags".



I am always looking for rubber stamps and I just love these. I plan on taking these to the expo since I already have an idea of what I want to do.

That's it. I bought a few other stuff since my last entry. I haven't really had a chance to sit through and edit all my pictures. More post coming soon.

Glitter And Rainbows

No Theme for Chay Sugar

Used my new rainbow stamp, some ribbon, stickers, and metallic butterflies. I really like how this came out. I need to deco more but I get too lazy when I am at home.

Stamp Swap Via Decolicious

Here's a lovely swap from William via Decolicous. It was a craft swap and the theme was rubber stamps. I mailed mine out late last week and I hope it reaches Avrilann real soon. I love the Chip n' Dale deco tape used on the envelope. Too cute. Thank you, William for sending this swap my way.



Here's a closer look. I really love this and I cannot wait to use them. The cat is too cute and the bunnies will be used for Easter, hehe. So Springy!

Extra goodies~ I have some decos to add to my box which is half empty at the moment. I will definately use these stickers and papers in my next deco session.

Last Trip to the P.O

I don't go to the Post Office that often but I had a heavy box to mail on Saturday. So I left the apartment early before work just mail them all out. I used the kiosk which I like the most when there are long lines or after hours.



I filled this box with a lot of decos for Sheri since I know she will pass them on quickly. I am really working through my box of decos and I am actually low on decos. I also put in a little surprise for her. I've known her for many years and she's one of my favorite penpals.



I was finally able to put a little swap together for Tatiana. I took forever to do so.



I also got rid of some excess decos. I only signed a couple of them since they were really not my kind of decos.

Another overdue swap~ I took forever with this one too. I hope she still wants to swap with me.



The last one, and yes I took forever with this one too. I couldn't fit as many decos as I wanted but I really like how colorful the envelope is.

I am slowly catching up on my swaps. It's taking me longer than I thought and I feel terrible with that. But my deco box is half empty and most of the one in there now are new. Also some of them I will be passing on since they are not my type. It sure feels good to get these out finally. I apologize for the delay.

I hope you are all having a sweet day! I joined a handmade card swap a few weeks ago for Valentine's cards. Above is a lovely card that I got from Sheri.



My partner was Karen and it took me a while to get started. At first I just covered the card with scrapbook paper. Then a few days later I used this cute owl stamp that I found at Walmart.

Loving the Deco swaps

Oh my, I am behind on my mail again... Even though it has been rather slow~ I still have been getting some awesome swaps in the mail.



I love this envelope! This is from Melissa who I sent her a small swap a while ago hoping she would like to swap decos with me. I need to buckle down today and get caught up on my letters. Then I can work on some deco swaps.

These are decos she sent my way along with a letter. I made a list of all the decos I have and will soon start working on a few. But first letters. I owe too many of them.

The food one is my favorite! I actually have a food deco that I want to use these on.


She even sent me some extras that I will use up on my next deco session. Again, thanks so much!

"Unthemed" via Decolicious

I was finally able to work on my "unthemed" deco for the FB group Decolicious. You can see the making of the deco above. I used only what I had around my desk which I need to declutter so badly. You can see my favorite stickers, an old print out, new alpha stamps, and my circle label. I used my border punch again, X-mas tape, glitter, ribbon, flocking, and various Valentine papers.



I finished it off with some more ribbon and a flower epoxy brad. I hope it won't fall apart before it is returned home since I didn't tape the brad down. I like it when you can pull the deco apart and work on a page by itself. I tried staples but my crappy stapler cound't handle the ribbon.

HOMER: Shakira goes home

I finally was able to stop at the post office and mail out this deco to Sandra in Germany. The deco was very bulky and I figure I would have to go to the post office. Funny thing is, since it was in a see through goodie bag the lady didn't make me fill out a customs form. So I hope she gets it soon. Beatiful deco.

Round Labels

My first attempt at circle labels. Working on making a smaller template. These are made via photoshop and using a circle punch. I printed these out on regular paper since I was just testing them out. But I have full sheet sticky labels as well.

Latest lil' Haul

I bought these late last week~ I am really loving my perforator a lot. I am done with precut labels since I can't seem to align them right with the HP printer. I want to go back and get the regular paper cutter as well since this worked so well. I found a lot of stamps on clearance too. So I ended up with some from Michael's and Hobby Lobby. And I love the pink Smash pen, hehe.

Letter to Yeska

I mailed this out on Saturday but I sealed this up before I remembered her data sheet...again. Sorry, Yeska. You have a very forgetful penpal. Next letter! I won't forget. I was happy to use my cute bunny stamp and my new addy labels.

Random Deco Signed

I have been decoing a lot lately and these are random decos I signed.

Outgoing: Early Start on the week

I dropped this off this afternoon before work which I usually wait until Monday. Lately I have been forgetting my mail on my desk when rushing to work. So at least, I know that the mailman will pick these up on Monday. But it feels good to drop these off since some of these are very late.



Hoping for a new deco swapper~ I have been wanting to ask Melissa for a while if she wanted to swap with me. I hope to hear from her soon but I sent a few decos her way.



Another deco swap for Dee~ I owed her a swap and a letter. I have a few oversized decos to send her way next.



I wrote to Crystal on Thursday and worked on her swap on Friday. Another overdue swap but I am setting small goals for myself each week.



I will make another post but in this envelope is my handmade Valentine's Day card I make for Karen via a Decolicious swap.

A Deco Signed

I never did post this... I deco I signed last week or so.



It's a horror theme deco but I really didn't have much but a gaming magazine. I don't think I had ink at time. I still need to install that but I want to use up all these magazine first. They are just taking up space on the shelf.

Mail from Kyle & Nikki

I am a little behind on posting my mail this week. I had a nice day off yesterday with my boyfriend. We just painted all day without going near the PC or even turning on a gaming console. So I will post what I can for now that I have uploaded. I still have a lot more pictures to resize and upload.



I haven't heard from Kyle in a while so it was nice to get a letter from him. His envelope was so bulky and full of goodies.

I also got a card from Nikki that was really cute. I found a package I made for her last week that should of been mailed ages ago. I thought I had mailed it out too. I hate being not so organized. I love her addy label~! Too cute.
