A small Haul & Expo

It's been a while since I updated. I've been so distracted lately with other projects which I am in the process of making another blog since it isn't mail related. I am also excited about attending the Memories Scrapbooking Expo this Friday.



I wanted to share the latest goodies I bought a few days ago. Some of this stuff I needed for the expo since I signed up for a couple of classes with a friend. I really needed a nice pair of scissors since I usually buy the cheap kind. I am quite happy with this cute CutterBee scissor. I find them very confortable and I like the fact that there are small. I also got some foam adhesive which were 40% off. I saw these cute lunch bags which I plan to use as envelope for my deco swaps. This carot card also got my attention and I couldn't resist the lil' 'statches. These adhesive borders from K&Company where clearance out~ So I had to snatch them up.



I bought some 8x8 scrapbooking paper and craft tags. I wanted something small to take to the expo. I really do not want to take too much. I can also use these tags for some "Deco Supply Bags".



I am always looking for rubber stamps and I just love these. I plan on taking these to the expo since I already have an idea of what I want to do.

That's it. I bought a few other stuff since my last entry. I haven't really had a chance to sit through and edit all my pictures. More post coming soon.

No Theme for Chay Sugar

Used my new rainbow stamp, some ribbon, stickers, and metallic butterflies. I really like how this came out. I need to deco more but I get too lazy when I am at home.

Stamp Swap Via Decolicious

Here's a lovely swap from William via Decolicous. It was a craft swap and the theme was rubber stamps. I mailed mine out late last week and I hope it reaches Avrilann real soon. I love the Chip n' Dale deco tape used on the envelope. Too cute. Thank you, William for sending this swap my way.



Here's a closer look. I really love this and I cannot wait to use them. The cat is too cute and the bunnies will be used for Easter, hehe. So Springy!

Extra goodies~ I have some decos to add to my box which is half empty at the moment. I will definately use these stickers and papers in my next deco session.

Last Trip to the P.O

I don't go to the Post Office that often but I had a heavy box to mail on Saturday. So I left the apartment early before work just mail them all out. I used the kiosk which I like the most when there are long lines or after hours.



I filled this box with a lot of decos for Sheri since I know she will pass them on quickly. I am really working through my box of decos and I am actually low on decos. I also put in a little surprise for her. I've known her for many years and she's one of my favorite penpals.



I was finally able to put a little swap together for Tatiana. I took forever to do so.



I also got rid of some excess decos. I only signed a couple of them since they were really not my kind of decos.

Another overdue swap~ I took forever with this one too. I hope she still wants to swap with me.



The last one, and yes I took forever with this one too. I couldn't fit as many decos as I wanted but I really like how colorful the envelope is.

I am slowly catching up on my swaps. It's taking me longer than I thought and I feel terrible with that. But my deco box is half empty and most of the one in there now are new. Also some of them I will be passing on since they are not my type. It sure feels good to get these out finally. I apologize for the delay.

I hope you are all having a sweet day! I joined a handmade card swap a few weeks ago for Valentine's cards. Above is a lovely card that I got from Sheri.



My partner was Karen and it took me a while to get started. At first I just covered the card with scrapbook paper. Then a few days later I used this cute owl stamp that I found at Walmart.

Loving the Deco swaps

Oh my, I am behind on my mail again... Even though it has been rather slow~ I still have been getting some awesome swaps in the mail.



I love this envelope! This is from Melissa who I sent her a small swap a while ago hoping she would like to swap decos with me. I need to buckle down today and get caught up on my letters. Then I can work on some deco swaps.

Teddy bear sticker is too funny. He looks annoyed though... Kinda like me when I get interrupted when I am writing, ha!



These are decos she sent my way along with a letter. I made a list of all the decos I have and will soon start working on a few. But first letters. I owe too many of them.
