SWAPBOT: Doodle-my-Profile Postcard Swap

Photobucket

Another postcard swap via Swapbot~ Here is the postcard I made with Photoshop. I went for a botanical is something she likes. I also used a vintage ad and stationery. I really love how it came out.

Photobucket

I doodled some flowers using Sharpies and BIC markers. Heh, I forgot the word "profile" at the bottom. I hope she likes it.

SWAPBOT: Doodle-a-Monster Postcard Swap

Photobucket

It'a been a while since I was active at Swap-bot... But I just had to join this swap when I saw it posted in Facebook. I used a piece of cardboard that I got from work and was happy that my BIC markers didn't bleed through. I doodled my lil' monster and decided to color him in. Then I colored in the background as well. I used a star stamp too.

Photobucket

For the back of it... I used my postcard stamp which is a favorite~ I doodled some more lil' monsters and wrote a short message. I used one of my Halloween stamps for the border on top.

Photobucket

Here's a close up of the monsters.

This goes to Dana in Canada and it was mailed out early this morning. I hope she gets it in time for Halloween.

MAIL ART from Norma

Photobucket

Fat mail alert~! Thank you, Norma for such a huggable package! All I can say is, "wow!" I love everything you sent my way. I wasn't aware you could cram so much into an envelope like that.

Photobucket

Here is the back of the envelope.

Photobucket

Paper heaven, right here.

Photobucket

The glitter flower brads are too cute. Love the ribbon which I plan to use on some decos. And the push pins~ Purple (fave color) stars. ^___^

Photobucket

Super fine glitter~ Love the earth tones which are colors I do not have. Many thanks for that. I cannot resist the colors in the other pack. ^___~ A girl can never have enough glitter.

Photobucket

The stickers are too cute~ The handmade sticker are beautiful and I never seen stickers like the metallic flower/buttery ones. I just had to sneak in your postcards, hehe.

Photobucket

I love this. You make the best postcards. ^_______^ I really need to learn how to use my lil' purple pixie sewing machine. It is still in the box it came in...

Photobucket

A closer look~

Again, thanks so much and I love it all. I cannot wait to be able to do this again. ^____^

Postcard #001

Lately I have been using permanent markers to make postcards. I use Sharpies and Bic Mark It markers on old matte Canon photo paper. On this one here I used various Gellyroll pens from Sakura which I really love. I made this one for my cousin back home in Texas. She got it today, so I am posting about it since my mail has been slow and I haven't been writing lately. I used my Xyron 5" create-a-sticker and stuck onto some plain old stock paper. The markers bleed through the photo paper... I then use my favorite stamp ever, an postcard stamp that I got on clearance.

I plan to make more postcard real soon but I wanting to get another pack of Bic Mark It since I am missing a few colors. I may just have to get the 36 pack since if I cannot find then at Staples.
