I want to thank all who follow my blog and apologize for not updating it as much as I would like too. I just have no motivation at the moment and I have not been active in the mail world at all. I hoping that will change soon but for now I am just going with the flow.
I am working on getting rid of some excess and I spent all day yesterday packing some decos. I want to start fresh which means I have to pass on some that I was hoping to sign. But I can't hold on to them any longer that I have. I feel bad about that already. I hope some day they will come back to my lil' mailbox. My deco mood comes and goes... Yet I am always buying supplies which is something that I need to stop doing. I have so much stuff and I hardly get to use it. So I plan to tackle this and get organized! Stay organized too.
I also have a little pile of letters to answer which I will be working on that real soon. All I write these days are unfinished letters that I tuck away in books/journals. I keep finding them and throw them away since they are so outdated. Grr, bad habit, no?
I want to thank those who send Christmas cards my way. Again, like every year... I failed on sending them out even though I bought them super early. Maybe I should start now for next year. >___<
Expect posts from me soon. I actually have a lot of photos to post but I need to find an app that allows me to resize them before I upload them. I have a new toy that I hope would keep me blogging. I love it. It's an Asus Transformer tablet which for this month will be connected where ever I may go.
I hope you all had a nice Christmas. Happy New Year~!
Another postcard swap via Swapbot~ Here is the postcard I made with Photoshop. I went for a botanical is something she likes. I also used a vintage ad and stationery. I really love how it came out.
I doodled some flowers using Sharpies and BIC markers. Heh, I forgot the word "profile" at the bottom. I hope she likes it.
Today I had some major time to kill before clocking in for work. So I did a lil' mail shopping and found some goodie bags, some tape, and some shipping labels. I made an envelope for Ashley and wrote her a letter. I finished it up by lunch break and will be going out tomorrow.
I haven't been all that active but I have been focusing on my mail lately. This is my bag that I take to work which has a nice pocket for my mail. I usually stuff it with letters/swaps that I drop off before I go in the building. Thought I would share it with you all.
I came across my metallic watercolors while organizing my craft room. Even though I had to wait a while for it to dry... I used it on Jenny's envelope to send a deco her way via Decolicious group.
Excess stickers bags going to Robin which should of been mailed a while ago. It's a tiny envelope and somehow got shoved behind recent mail.
I am glad that Jennifer is writing again. Here is a letter I sent her way using treat bags I bought last month. Halloween is way too short. You can also see Jessica's letter as well.
Here's a better look at Jessica's letter. I sent a few decos her way and I found some cute ones that I want to send her way as well. I have too many decos at the moment and I am just not feeling creative enough to sign them all. I used some of my stamps for this.
This is the letter I sent to Katie which I was still rolling with the Halloween theme. I used a bunch of stickers that I had left, hehe. Rubber stamps and a vintage print that I love.
Another chance to use my Halloween stickers. Here's my letter to Yeska, hehe.
This the last letter I mailed out and it's about time I wrote to Ilona. I keep holding on to it because I wanted to stop at the post office to get some airmail stamps. Never got a chance to do so~ I just ended up slapping three regular stamps.
This is as caught up as I will be on this blog. Heh. I have 300+ pictures saved but I think I will start fresh from now one. I will also change the way I post and I hope that help me get back into posting everyday. I have just been so distracted lately trying to keep my mind off of certain things that have been bothering me.
Feeling like a bad penpal here... Some of these letter/swaps should of gone out a long time ago. I recently found some while cleaning my craft room. I will get them out as soon as I can since I don't think I have enough stamps for them all. Money is still an issue for me and the bills just keep on coming. But I will catch up soon.
I picked these up at Target today and will be using it all to catch up on my mail. All where a dollars too~ I now have stickers, pens, and I like to use list pads for stationery. So I am set for the winter months. (^_____~) It's a lil' birthday present to myself, hehe.
I hope to catch up on my posts here since I haven't been updating a lot lately. I have been so distracted.
It'a been a while since I was active at Swap-bot... But I just had to join this swap when I saw it posted in Facebook. I used a piece of cardboard that I got from work and was happy that my BIC markers didn't bleed through. I doodled my lil' monster and decided to color him in. Then I colored in the background as well. I used a star stamp too.
For the back of it... I used my postcard stamp which is a favorite~ I doodled some more lil' monsters and wrote a short message. I used one of my Halloween stamps for the border on top.
Here's a close up of the monsters.
This goes to Dana in Canada and it was mailed out early this morning. I hope she gets it in time for Halloween.
I had fun stamping these and cutting the out. It keeps my mind off things, hehe. I put three lil' baggies together that I want to send out as a thank you.
I have two tissue boxes full of scraps that I know I am never going to use if I keep buying new stuff. Well, late last week I saw by the coffee table using nothing but what I had stuff in these tissue boxes. I used labels via LBs for all of these.
I bought these Halloween goodies bags a while back and have been using them as envies. Here is my recent outgoing mail:
A letter to Mandy.
Returning a deco to Raven~ We used to penpal so long ago and I glad I can return a homer.
To the lovely, Tanya~ xoxo
These where all suppose to go out together but one needed more postage.
Letter for Yeska~ xoxo
A letter for Samantha and some FB goodness.
That is all, I've been focusing on my mail lately but I just need to get back in the habit of updating this blog. It's been a lazy Summer for me and I am enjoying Fall so far. I usually get more motivated around this time. I've also been depressed... I had to put Fable down last Monday. I miss him so much.
This picture of Chaser always makes me laught. That cute lil' furball. I tried to keep it simple using a few deco supplies I bought after work. I used some ribbon, glitter (maybe too much... Is that possible?), alphabet marker stampers, stickers, and confetti.
I found this picture of Fable and just had to use it for a deco. I take so many pictures of my cats but I really don't do anything with me. They are just stored on my computer never to be looked at again. I really need to start doing something creative with all these pictures I take. This deco has so many layers just because I really couldn't decide on what I wanted to do. I used some deco tape, glitter, confetti, stickers, and random scraps of paper from some swappers of mine. This is what it ended up as.
Time for a photo dump or sort because I have so many pictures saved that I know I haven't even posted yet. Aye. So behind on it all. So here goes, no real order here...
A few weeks ago I got a bookmark bag and since I really didn't have any. I don't read as much as I should and I tend to use whatever when I do. So I had to just pass this along via a Yahoo excess group.
Oh yes, this is a recent letter I sent to Katie. I am happy that she has a mail blog of her very own. She is so creative and how can you not love that. Please visit her blog.
Here's a cluster of letters that went out on the same day. A letter to Nikki, Katie, and Bookmark Bag.
Oh a good mail day here from last Monday. Too bad today I had nothing waiting for me when I got home. But I was happy to see packages from Sarah D. in Canada, Sarah E., and Lauren R.
Here's a closer look at Sarah's envelope.
This is a closer look at Lauren's package. I never swapped with her before and I am looking forward to it. I need to start one her envelope so that I can begin staching decos in it.
Sarah love your handwriting~ I am glad to see you doing decos now.
I printed out some swapcards that I made for a Facebook group and sent some to Lisa. ^____^ She makes the best rubber stamps!
Nikki's letter was sent back for extra postage. But it finally arrived and I am happy about that.
This is the last letter that I mailed out last week. This is for one of my favorite penpals. Miss ya, Yeska!
A deco via a group at Facebook. I believe it was the Day of the Dead deco.
I know I mailed this one a while ago but I am not sure when.
A cluster of mail that went out together. Mail art for Norma. Netflix, and I cannot remember who I sent the green envie too...
A letter to Yeska~ ^_____^
A letter to Kyle, hehe. I drew the little bear myself. XD
Labels going to Canada for Sarah.
I have some recent mail that I need to take photos of but thank you all for stopping by and those who sent mail my way... Muncho Thankies~! ^____^ You really make my day when I see an envelope in my lil' mailbox.
So what have a been up to lately? Honestly, not much... I have been distracting myself with some videogames. Money has been a real issue this month and it is so depressing. I have so many packages & swaps that I want to mail out right now. It sad, that I cannot but I am hoping maybe this paycheck will be the one. So if I owe you a swap, please know that I have not flaked but bills are just sucking at the moment. *sighs* Feel free to remind me as well~ I don't have the best memory, heh.
But I was able to grab these on clearance a couple of weekends ago. I just had to have the camera stamp when I saw it. I love cameras~! All the rest of the stuff should be scented~ The stickers are too cute, I love the ice cream pen, and the lil' notebook is perfect to carry around.
Taken yesterday during my lil' deco session before work.
THEME: Women of the 80's MADE FOR: Joy LeMasters MADE BY: Crystal Lamb
My entry: I just has to use this when I stumbled upon this at photobucket. I didn't use any tape on this one... Just ribbon, stickers, and cupcake scrapbooking paper. It is a little blurry due to the stickers.
